Top 15 Movies From My Childhood That I Could Still Watch Over and Over (#11-15)
You know these movies, the ones you've seen hundreds of times ever since you were 3 years old. I've compiled a list of the 15 best movies from my child years and I'd like to hear yours as well, so feel free to comment. Just to clear things up, these 15 movies are in fact the best movies from my younger years, so if you disagree, you're wrong.
I've chosen to just use plot outlines from http://www.imdb.com simply because it's easiest, but I may add additional comments to a few. I may have forgotten some films, but these are the ones I remembered. It was hard narrowing them down, but I think I'm satisfied enough with the list. I'm going to split this up into three posts simply so there isn't one incredibly long post. If you click the title of the movie, it'll bring you to a video clip of each film. At last, these are the bottom five...

#15 - The Princess Bride - "A classic fairy tale, with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing (as read by a kindly grandfather)." (imdb.com) How good is this movie? I'm sure most everyone has seen this because it's on all the time, or at least it used to be. It's a comedy involving all the fairytale stereotypes and it definitely is a classic.

#14 - The Lion King - "Tricked into thinking he killed his father, a guilt ridden lion cub flees into exile and abandons his identity as the future King." (imdb.com) Hakuna-matata.

#13 - Sandlot - "Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and wants to learn to play baseball..." (imdb.com) Everyone loves this movie, but I think I came to like it because backyard baseball was the thing to do growin' up, so I could relate. Fortunately, I never had to run from an enormous dog. "You're killing me smalls"

#12 - Hook - "When Capt. Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy." (imdb.com)

#11 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit - "A toon hating detective is a cartoon rabbit's only hope to prove his innocence when he is accused of murder." (imdb.com) God, this film is good; half-animated, half-real, it brings in all sorts of conflict. I remember the first time I ever saw it, I was disturbed by some parts of the movie, but now I can watch it and enjoy it. Still a great childhood movie nonetheless.
I'll post the next five later or tomorrow.

Dolphin Olympics Deuce
So basically for the last few days I've been addicted to the online game Dolphin Olympics 2. It's more addictive than jetman or pacman and I find myself playing it constantly. I'm corkscrewing, back flipping, and surfing stardust trails and shit. The game is rather easy, but High Scores are up into the 500 millions, while I fall to only 4 million at best. I try different variations of combos and tricks but nothing does the job, maybe because I'm D.O. retarded, I don't know. Either way, the game is simple: you're a dolphin, you swim about and attempt to jump out of the water, doing tricks in order to rack up sick points, lol.
My best is 4 million, and I average between 1 and 3, which is rather pathetic considering the other scores. If you want to kind of learn how to play, just go to youtube and search for Dolphin Olympics 2. The game only uses the arrow keys (as far as I know), so it's fairly playable by anyone. Go here and give it a try, see how far this heroin-esque addiction will take you.

Grizzly Bear A Capella
I know this video is probably old but I really don't care. It's an a capella version of Grizzly Bear's Knife from their Yellow House album. Anyways, it's an a capella group from somewhere that's grown in popularity because of youtube. Here's their rendition of Knife:
Grizzly Bear also did an A Capella version, though a little unorganized:
You can find the Carleton Singing Knights on youtube or at: http://www.myspace.com/thecarletonsingingknights

Come at me.
So, I was thinking earlier. Yes thinking. Seriously though, I was thinking it'd be fun if I responded as intelligently as I can to e-mails that anyone wants to send to me. If someone were to e-mail me and ask me what I thought about the BCS system in NCAA Football, I would then write up an incredibly witty and charming post relating to said subject. In that post, I would link to your blog/webpage and hopefully something unique would become of this. Feel free to ask me anything, I'll respond on any topic so long as it isn't too illegal...
As I write this, I can't help but think to myself, "blog traffic, more specifically my blog traffic, is limited like the football skills of the Miami Dolphins and the likability of the Ohio State Buckeyes", but, lo, if you help me, I help you in some way or another. This idea won't work one bit, but the idea is there and hey, who knows....amirite?

Ask me to respond about any topic, event, or whatever have you....I implore you.

Run DMC on Reading Rainbow
I was chatting with a friend about my new and groundbreakingly awesome blog and he advised me that this video should be posted here. I actually loved this show when I was younger and I think it's quite impressive that a rap group actually did what they did. The video is obviously for the lols, but I thought it was a good way to get kids to listen.
Anyway, I can't wait to see Lil Wayne rapping on Dora the Explora soon.

My First Time
So, I decided to make a blog. I thought it'd be fun to ramble off on a website for no real reason, so here I am. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, I'll still be here posting, but I guess we'll see. The blog will mostly pertain to music, movies, and sports, but there will most likely be other miscellaneous posts as well. I know this first post isn't that creative, or intelligent, but what the hell. lol.
Feel free to leave comments...I don't mind if their negative and hateful, it gives the site some nice color......hm. How many visitors will see this post title and be sorely disappointed?
